We couldn't believe it.
After four tries the city slickers finally won the rodeo challenge!
We had another fun-filled weekend in Sisseton, South Dakota for the Fourth "Somewhat Annual" Two Star Ranch Rodeo Challenge! We had the biggest turnout in the history of the event, having a bunch of cousins attend this year. Every few years, we get together and battle it out as teams of two compete is various events. This year's events included ATV obstacle course, rifle target shooting, skeet shooting, bags, 10 minutes/10 dollar appetizer/side dish, mini burger "sliders," and of course drinking games. Dominika and I are happy to report that we came out victorious this year and claimed the trophy and plaque with our picture that will go on the wall of fame! We won the bags tournament (no surprise there!) and shocked the world winning the skeet shooting event! Yes, two city-slickers beat out all the cowboy cousins and their wives! We are quite proud of that, and hope to defend our crown next year! Of course, finishing the night out with some drinking games, everyone prevails victorious in that event! Each off season back in the states, the Two Star Ranch trip is always one of the high points in our short time at home. Here's to next year's Rodeo, can't wait! Challenge: ATV race around the property with a break in the middle to put on hunting overalls. Challenge: Target shooting. Challenge: Skeet Shooting. Challenge: Ten minutes - Ten Dollars Appetizer/Side. Challenge: Bags tournament. Winners!
